I hope you are not disapointed with the Archos 9. It can be upgraded to a higher spec version of windows 7 whcih will give tablet functionality, however it is an excercise in frustration as gettign the touch screen drivers and keyboard function to work after the upgrade is tedious. I have had mine for about 6 weeks now and while it does the job, it is slow and clunky. Interestingly, using it to read books in mobipocket software is realy quite a pleasant experience.
