Actually is there a donate option for this project. I see massive value in it and would love to support it, despite my problems.

Just to summarize: Calibre alone - works. PRS+ alone - works. Calibre + PRS+ - leads to problems.

Is that correct?

I have found a possible bug. I don't know if it's with ADE or PRS+.

I used a custom CSS to replace the default ADE fonts. That worked no problem until I tried a book that uses an embedded font family. The new default ADE fonts took priority. Not what I wanted at all.

What I am going to try is !important in the CSS of the ePub and see if that works. If you want to see the CSS I'm using to replace the default ADE fonts, I'll post it later today when I have access to my 505.

PRS+ merely integrates pepak's ADE custom CSS hack (only changing the path to css file). The best place to ask for help with ADE hack problems is here:

Are you saying that the embedded fonts in the book took priority over your fonts of choice? Lets us know how it turns out.

Yes, for me at least. I had a working combination between Calibre - PRS 505

My first connection with Calibre - PRS+ 505 caused corrupted database errors.

I have since recovered this situation which means that everything is working as it should PRS+ 505 - Calibre

Meanwhile, 1.0RC2 version of the script part of PRS+ is ready. It contains 2 bug fixes:

1) Screenshot confirmation message not dissapearing when saving to internal memory
2) Center button related bug in Key Bindings

If we are just updating the scripts to RC2, do we need to reflash? Or, can I just copy over the new database folder?

I'm saying the replacement default ADE fonts took over from the embedded fonts in the book.

That's quite surprising, really. You may want to experiment with the default CSS rules - maybe body { font-family: serif; } shall be enough. Maybe not. We really need that !important support :-(

All I did was copy your CSS. Can you have a look and see what might be up?

Try changing the

Code:

html, body { font-family: serif; widows: 0; orphans: 0; }

to

Code:

html { font-family: serif; widows: 0; orphans: 0; }

If it doesn't help, you can even try removing it completely. Other than that, I don't know - it's up to ADE how it chooses to implement CSS priorities :-(

In the worst case, I could add a ("key bindable") action to enable/disable custom css file (by simply renaming it to something else) provided, ADE really rereads the file content every time it is used. (didn't work quite well for me, but I've tried only once, maybe there simply were other problems that were causing it)
