I think your images broke the front page. Nice device though.

Jinke has a long history of not delivering devices as promised and never updating they site to reflect design changes. Ask about anyone who has been here for more than a couple years...it's just Jinke being Jinke...they are not really a direct to consumer company, instead they sell to others under that company's brand/label. I don't think I have ever come across a device with the Jinke name on it in the US. And I would be reluctant to hold up the Astak Pocket Pro as some idea of a shining example of the quality that comes from their production lines...those issues were as funny as I have ever seen in a new device...

Anyway, even if they never come to market, who cares? I, for one, will just get a different product. It's the way markets work. | |

Sipix can't yet make the Active Matrix panels on plastic. they DO make their passive shelf label product on plastic with the roll to roll edge cutting they talk about on their website. Multi-touch for zooming? why have that row of physical buttons then? and the buttons on the left face AND the buttons on the right edge? |

I've heard that there is another major company who will use sipix screen on its next product and they show it in the CES, but I didn't know who...

				A9

Wow the A9t appears to be exactly what I am looking for! I only hope, like the Hanlin V3, it has a user replaceable battery. The 9" screen will be just fine for displaying marginless PDFs at a readable size i think. I am wondering about the touch screen model though - does a 'capacitive touchscreen' mean it will be subject to the same issues as the Sony PRS-600 (among others)? That is will there be high reflection / lower contrast than the A9k model? |

However, capacitive touch screen aren't terribly accurate; they can be used for "buttons", but (unless they've improved since I last came across them) you won't be able to use it for annotation (writing on the screen).
