Install 2.0 without micro SD

I have the Opus and would like to install the new 2.0 version. I read the read me file and it says I need a micro SD to do it. I never bought one since I never needed it (until now). I just sent an e-mail to bookeen support on how to install the 2.0 without it (I hope it's possible), but in case if anyone already knows, I'll probably find out here faster. Thanks for your help!

You can't install new firmware without a memory card.

Boooooo! I'm very disappointed. I'll wait to hear back from support too, but this is the final thing that's pushed me to never buy another bookeen item ever again! *so sad*

I'm not a big Bookeen fan anymore myself (because of the long-delayed update), but AFAIK this is more a hardware issue than a software one, and Bookeen doesn't design the hardware - they just use Netronix' platform (just like most of the other small e-reader companies out there.)

So if you really don't ever want to buy a memory card to perform an update, you've just decided to ignore all of the Netronix-based devices on the market in order to save yourself a one-time $5 purchase. Personally, I think that's a shame, because even though I'm unhappy with Bookeen, I really like what Pocketbook is doing with essentially the same hardware. But they, too, require an SD card for the updates.

In Pocketbook 360 ° microSD Card for the Firmware update is not needed, but Pocketbook encourages its use for reasons of safety.

Okay, then I take back my comments. I don't own a PB 360 (love the specs of the 302 though), but from my limited research I had thought the update worked just like with the Cybook.

I never bothered with one - the 1GB internal memory is fine for me.
