Reuse Original SD Cards

Can you write over commercial SD Cards, I was thinking about buying some that are cheaply priced and formatting and reusing them, is this possible?

Except for the small switch on the side of the card (Locked/Unlocked) I don't think SD Cards have any kind of physical write protection. Perhaps someone else knows more about it.

Hey,

I think what macumazahn means is that he wants to be able to write over game/application sd cards to use them for memory. Am I right?

Macumazahn,

Don't know if that is possible I believe that the sd cards that have apps on them are read only. If you are able to over write it let me know.
