Sony Forums NEED a Reorganization

Take a look at that thread. It is a good example of why we need a reorganization of the Sony forums. It's a thread that has to to with ALL Sony Readers. But there is no proper place to post it. So it gets posted in the wrong place with the wrong prefix. Why is it posted in the wrong place? The answer is because there is no right place to post it. We need to have a Sony forum that deals with threads that are not Reader specific. But we don't have such. So reorganizing the Sony forums should be a top priority given the state of things as they are and the state of things to come.

We are well aware of the problem in the Sony forum and willing to do some restructuring!

Thank you for reporting this, Jon. It is planned to combine the two Sony forums into one in the not too distant future.

Your thoughts on such matters are, as always, very welcome.

I had the same thought when trying to keep track of the new 3.1 Library problems.

But will this happen anytime soon or do we have to wait till the damage is yet more evident? What would help is a Reader Library forum section and one for the eBookstore. Then the mods can gather all the posts all over the place, put them where they belong and remove any incorrect prefixes.

I just hope it doesn't take as long as the Cool-er forum or fixing News & Commentary.

Why not have one forum section for the BeBook and all the other clones? All you need in one general purpose forum with the different cloned brands as sub forums and that would solve the problem.
