Ebooks.com?

I've tried to do a search but looks like the term is a bit too generic to get any useful results.

Has anyone bought from www.ebooks.com? They seem to have quite a large selections of ePub books available. I can't seem to find any info on geographic restrictions on their site. Do they have any in place, or do they actually worldwide?

It's an Australian company. I've bought from them twice, so I would guess worldwide.

There's actually geo-restrictions on alot of titles. I'm in the UK and there's heaps of titles they won't sell me.

Can you guys point me to a geo-restricted title? How is it indicated? It might be that the few titles I looked at don't have restrictions, or that I missed the notification.

I had a look at the supposedly Australian ebooks.com( but true as their office is in Perth) and I had to look pretty hard to find an ebook that Australians can purchase. What a joke !

Part of the reason I set up the site was because I couldnt get ebooks due to geo restrictions here in Ireland. I made the choice to sell only worldwide available eBooks to keep everything simple!

we have plenty of Australian/Kiwi customers, so feel free to have a look!

You don't have to login/register to browse their site... This is copied from the first title.. You'll see it says on the last line: 'For copyright reasons, this ebook is only available to customers in this list of countries.'

'list of countries is a link to the countries it is available in.

That means the following two aren't geo-restricticted unless I'm missing something:

They are for me anyway, notice directly below the Buy Now button which is greyed out.

I don't see this text when I display this book. After the list of formats there's only the Buy Now button.

That's what I'm seeing as well - a large red "Buy it now" button.
