Almost there - one more question?

I am just about done loading 763 books into Calibre, getting metadata and covers for all, marking those I have read, putting them on my kindle, fixing author sort... Now, I have 763 books, on my kindle, all perfectly sorted except for the @#%# topaz books. But all 763 are marked "new." I used to open books up as I added them to get rid of the new marker, but I will break my thumb opening up 763. Any idea how to get rid of it, systematically?

For me the "new" marker goes away after a couple of days without doing anything special.

Well, I had to fix 3 last authors, and added them. Had to reset, and now all the new is gone! Thanks!
