The folder support, though, is VERY nice. I have a fair few reading devices, and the Opus (which has the same folder support) now has the best "library" of any of them. It's the only device I have (other than the iRex) on which it's practical to store many thousands of books.

Believe it or not - I just ordered the Opus from bol.de tonight. Sort of a benefit for the doubt since Bookeen finally reacted to an iquiry and there obviously ist some sort of development. I tend to be suicidal from time to time ... HarryT, is the folder view also with thumbnails or is it just a list of all titles? |

For people who have the Opus: Can you move your books from a folder to other through the options in the e-reader or with the computer?

In folder view it still looks the same (thumbnail images of book covers), but at the start of the library listing you have a "go up a level" folder icon, and an icon for each sub-folder within the current folder. After all the sub-folders, it lists the books in the folder, exactly as at present. It's an interface which works very well. | |

I finally scanned down throug their blog comments and found their latest 'statement'. In reading the comments, did I imagine that they said the firmware would be re-/de-installable in order to swap between mobi and epub support? Derek |

That is the way I understood it too, although you don't actually "de-install", you just install whichever firmware you want and it overwrites the other. You can do this as many times as you want...

Yes, because flashing your device every time you want to switch from ePub to Mobi or vice versa makes a lot of sense. To Bookeen.
