Silliness VR's Bacon

When I saw these I thought of VR and his passion for bacon. Who among us have a love (or lust) as strong as his for bacon? I answer you by saying, "No one."

Therefore, post pictures of your objects of passion (or lust.) Don't be shy, there is a doctor among us that gives group rates and has a laddy by the door for collections. In all of his years of practice not one knee cap has been broken.

When I first moved to Oregon, I decided to do something different than working for doctors. I got a job at a huge fabric / craft mill store. Incredible place, anything and everything for whatever you have not even thought of yet.

So long and short of the story.... at the end of one month I owed them twice the amount of my paycheck....

I quit and went back to work for the doctors....

That is why my wife refuses to work for any sewing/fabric store. Plus she would be working and never have time for sewing/quilting/etc. She does volunteer sewing and is having a great time.

I used to work in a quilt shop.

Never once took home a paycheck, and many weeks wrote them a check.

My husband made me quit.........I'm just sayin'................

That's exactly how I would be in a Bead shop, Yarn shop or a Book store!

Even when I was teaching full-time, I was constantly buying something new for my classroom.

My passions:
Hobbies - Beading, Knitting and Books
Food - Creme Brulee and Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

I have a lust for passion and a passion for lust. Thankfully a morose, insecure, self-defeating, self-centred disposition coupled with an innate aversion to others, change and elevated emotional states makes such peaks always climbed but never climbable. It's good to have goals...sometimes.

Also, I like icecream, waterslide parks, and beverages with a high Scrabble wordscore.

Some years ago, I was responsible for recruitment in an IT department. When reviewings CV's, we had one come in from a woman who had left a job in IT about 6 months previously to fulfill a life-long ambition to open a shop selling knitting supplies. Unfortunately, according to her CV, it was at this point that an allergy to wool manifested itself!

I know in my heart that this really isn't funny - person's dream smashed and all that - but, well.....

She was lucky.... that allergy probably saved her from going bankrupt from over buying from her own shop.
