not only time, guys, I've lost count of the number of threads that have morphed into a whinge covering the same topic "Wheres the Firmware Upgrade"....(omitted appropriate swearword cause this is a family show [and I don't know them myself])

I shudder to think what will happen when Bookeen delivers the firmware. Number of posts here plummets, mobileread revenue with advertisements (by competitors) decreases, people don't have fun together anymore and start developing sociopathic behaviour. What follows is the same old story: drugs, drive by shootings, bankruptcy, jail... the end of the world.

There is just one hope: If Bookeen delivers the firmware and there are plenty of bugs, new features not working properly and some of the announced changes didn't make it into the firmware. Bookeen would announce that all would be fixed in the next firmware release and everything would go back to normal... Let's hope Bookeen saves the world with a buggy FW

Of course we all know that a new firmware release (or pair of....) will generate threads galore with moans about

battery duration
bugs
lack of dictionary support
drm (never ending)
complaints because the so-called ability to switch between mobi & ePub versions is not as 'clean' as should be .......... some older versions won't shift or will be (hell NO) bricked !!!!!!

or someone's entire ebook collection will be automagically converted from mobi to ePub (DRMed, of course) while at the same time making it impossible to install anything else than the mobi version on that person's device...

Maybe they are working on an automated process to translate any eBook into French, the only civilized language west of El Paso.

Erm, yes. But going west from El Paso pretty much just excludes English, assuming you only count a language if you count the country it originates from...

The definition of it is of course that it is a french soon, which can mean a period of a couple days or a week or a month or a year or a decade or a century or a millenium.
