I just remembered, we already have a word for our readers. It's a word most of us know. The word is PADD. PADD stands for Personal Access Display Device.

). I'd choose 'book platter' for reading devices if I had my way - which I never do. | |

Wikipedia is not, was never, and will never be a reliable and ultimate source of information. Yes, it's really useful, but it should never be taken too seriously, and should always remain merely the first step when searching for information. And languages do evolve to stay alive, they need to adapt themselves to their users, not the other way around, otherwise they die, in this world of communication more then ever. Rigidity is just not an option. |

I read books, magazines, occasionally a "paper", etc. I don't read a lisueusuuees or a computer or a phone. But I do watch "TV", sometimes "shows", and sometimes shows or movies on TV. So it's ambiguous, but won't be forced, and I still contend that it is a "book", plain and simple. When people ask what it is, that's what I say: a book.
