Now, I can't wait to get home tonight and load them on the Reader..

for downloading I'll probably be doing it this way in the future, release individual stories and then top the collection off with new ones. I've got a backlog here of stories that I can choose from, but I like putting out a lot of new stuff too

And with that I'm cutting back my MR'ing for a few days while I edit the 1st Elliot Finch novel into shape. I actually have four Finch novels where I thought it was 3. I later on wrote a short story with the same title as the 1st Finch novel, a title Tom Waits fans will appreciate.

So the Finch novels are now:

1: 1947 Beneath a Bloodshot Moon (this one takes place directly after Dead Pigeons and follows Finch as he goes out to meet the money man behind his cafe)
2: 1947 Murder at the Mermaid Cafe
3: 1948 The Big Hurt
4: 1949 An Angel at Dawn

They're only 50 - 55,000 words each (about the same length as Robert B Parker's Spenser novels), so they're quick novels.
