now i know how mobileread survives, offering all theose programs and free ebooks we can download with subscription fees ==> it must be 'cause of advertising like this thread

robertb sounds like a pr hack with lines like "in a class by itself" makes you wonder if the other hanlin clones passed the exam and got promoted leaving this one back

so far we have one person telling us how great everything will be, where are the objective reviews by mobileread staffers or moderatirs that have experience with other units?? if all you have ever known is an astak then everything that is not an astak is something less even if it does more because that is not needed

i remember a woman that told me all evening how wonderful it would be when we got to her apartment at the end of the evening, she told me about the wonderful view of the eat river from her window, how beautiful the bed would be, how great the musi ==> she lived in a 4th floor walk-up with a window that opened onto a brick wall, her cat was cowed by the roaches, and the music was a drummer from next door <== is the astak like that woman?? i am starting to think so

Dear Maggie:

I am very pleased that you like it. I also love the Slate Blue... but think the Maroon Lagoon and Metallic Purple and the Fuscia Pink and the White... are all eye catching!!

This HAS to be the best color selection on the market. I do not see any losers here at all. All THANKS to MobileRead Forum and the members choices!!

No, no, no. You read to the machine; but it does not print the words. It just says back: "Read slower", or "What was that" or Speak Louder". It, essentally, scolds you and makes your experience a living hell. I am glad we do not carry it!

Actually if you look closely, you'll see that the text on the black one is slightly blured. Of course this could be done with Photoshop but why would they?

Dear All:

Iris decided that on the colors shots she wanted the emphasis on the colors... so she pasted the same "text" that came up on the white onto all the other colors as well.

Also, we were rushing to get the shots done for the press... so there was little time to download books onto each device. Gee, we just got them put together and rushed them to the photog!!
