i read lot of pdf-s of academic kind on the screen of my laptop,
but i find this inconvenient

looking for an e-book reader to buy, which can also be used to make remarks and schematic and has super intuitive interface

Hi träm welcome to MobileRead. If you are looking for a device with good support for PDF and annotations you might check out the iRex DR1000S, iRex iLiad V2 and the Sony PRS-700. The Kindle DX might be also worth a look but afaik it doesn't support annotations...

Welcome to MobileRead, träm!

I have a Sony 700 and love it! I also do a lot of highlighting and bookmarking with notes and have been happy with the way they are handled on the Sony. However, if you are reading pdf textbooks, the screen is a bit small for that, so a larger screen might be better. Good luck making a choice!
