			I think 'ereader' is an acceptable term.  'epaper' to me means it has to be a thin, flexible screen that's like a sheet of paper.

			I've only seen "eink" used for the specific technology. I don't see it being generalized to reflective LCDs or OLEDs. The only general term I've seen used for text-optimized display is "epaper," referencing the 3Qi display.

 I see what you're saying, but I also mentioned MP3 which is a format. And lots of people call ipods/irivers/etc etc MP3 players, yet not all of them use that format. For me Reader sounds wrong. But if that's for you, cool. As long as we all can understand each other. I find that I keep referring to them in different ways (ereader, e-device etc,etc). As some people will pick you up on it. So I would like to add that from now on I will be calling all the different devices, ereader, and if I mean the format I will specify. | |
