Last night I called up the reception of the club where the auction was held... (if you have no idea what i am talking about ... please see here) AND THEY HAD THE READER!!! SOMEONE RETURNED IT TO A SECURITY GUARD!!! AHHHHHHHHH... I honestly never thought this would happen to me!!! It always happens to other people... i guess it's my turn to be the "other person" I really thank you all and you virtual hugs and vibes... I am sure we all sent a collective message to the universe to make my world right once more. I pick it up today after work.... SIGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH what a relief! |

That's great! People really are good. Now, the first order of business will be to clearly label it with your name, address, and phone number. I stuck one of the millions of free charity return address labels on the back of mine, problem solved. |

Now, I sort of thought that would happen. I know I always take stuff I find to either security, or the lost and found, except for that time I found a wad of cash in Las Vegas. I mean .... really!!??!! Really glad you got it back. If the Sony allows you to make custom screen savers, then I'd make a bookplate with your name and address and phone. That's what I did with my Kindle 1. | |

Congratulations. Some years ago, I lost a Windows CE device I was using as a reader. Like you, I considered it gone for good, but received it a couple of months later from a neighbor's husband. Apparently I had left it at her place of work and she had traced it to me. Highly unlikely, but it happens. |
