I don't have credit card coverage since I bought it cash... I have no idea what I am going to do now. I am posting this cuz you guys are the only ones who could sympathize since my friends were wondering if I was 25 or 2.5... =( Last edited by Alphapheemail; 05-27-2009 at 10:32 AM. Sounds more like it was stolen. Where were you when you found out that your ereader was missing? Where and when was the last time you remember using it? |

@ Over: I was sitting in the audience. My bag is huge and doesnt have a zipper just flaps. I thought that might be the case too. But the case for it looks like: http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_430xN.59620823.jpg So it's no like you can tell what it is when you have one of the fancy leather covers... @WDE... thank you @Geoff: it's the fishflu... forgetfulness is one of the symptoms... |

Oh, I"m so sorry to hear that. Seriously, we all get a 'hitch" in our hearts when we hear someone has lost their reader. Only those who have one would understand the attachment we develop towards them........and it doesn't matter which brand you have. What will you do now? You'll start over, and save the money to buy another one. And you'll keep coming here for support. Big hug. |

With the rash of lost ebook devices recently I may need to get a lanyard and keep my Sony strapped to my wrist at all times. Sorry to hear your Sony has been lost. |

That's why it's a good idea to get as many as you can ... and, as much as is possible, duplicate the books you treasure most on at least one other reader. So in case one gets lost, you'll still have a backup. At least that's the justification I'm giving my husband, for why I have 3, going on 4, going on 20, ebook readers now! Seriously, yes, my sympathies - hope you find it! |

So sorry about your lost. I have my name and cell number taped to the back of mine just in case I misplace it and someone honest finds it. My first guess would be that some member of MobileRead grabbed it. After all, we are ebook addicts. But, although one of us would certainly grab it we'd then get curious about which books you had on it and have a look. Then, hours later when you came back looking for it, we'd still be sitting there reading away. |
