And if, like me, you own a Kobo ebook reader, simply use Instapaper to download the stories of your choice to your Kobo and then read to your heart's content. This includes back issues of the magazine, too.

Here's the link to Uncanny Magazine:

https://www.uncannymagazine.com/

They publish Fantasy and Science Fiction.

I am not affiliated with them.

Thanks, I'm not sure I have enough time to read a magazine too, but will try some issues; from Kobo it claims they are DRM-free, so them can be read on other devices also.

It's easier to read specific stories rather than issues. There are monthly review columns focusing on magazines. And you can scan the table of contents for favorite authors.

From Uncanny, here's Lavie Tidhar's The Portal Keeper, inspired by A Night in the Lonesome October.

Kobo Canada has a variety of books by Terry Brooks on sale for roughly 20% off..

It's pretty disjointed. Still, I was able to finish converting my Magic Kingdom of Landover collection with this (picked up Vol 2 and A Princess of Landover on this sale.)

[...] which argues that as long as humanity remains flawed and sinful, our exploration of other planets will tend to do them more harm than good.

These are not available via this publisher in the USA. Likely because they are not in the public domain here, and thus this publisher is working in gray area trying to sell it here.

That seems like the specialty of "Horizon Ridge Publishing", judging from their other listings:

Some legit public domain stuff (now), but quite a few that are not public domain and that they certainly don't own the publishing rights for, at least in the US.

Dreadful Young Ladies and Other Stories by Kelly Barnhill is $2 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)

An exquisite collection of haunting, magical stories from Newbery Medalist Kelly Barnhill

When Mrs. Sorensen’s husband dies, she rekindles a long-dormant love with an unsuitable mate in “Mrs. Sorensen and the Sasquatch.” In “Open the Door and the Light Pours Through,” a young man wrestles with grief and his sexuality in an exchange of letters with his faraway beloved. “Dreadful Young Ladies” demonstrates the strength and power—known and unknown—of the imagination. In “Notes on the Untimely Death of Ronia Drake,” a witch is haunted by the deadly repercussions of a spell. “The Insect and the Astronomer” upends expectations about good and bad, knowledge and ignorance, love and longing. The World Fantasy Award–winning novella “The Unlicensed Magician” introduces the secret magical life of an invisible girl once left for dead—with thematic echoes of Barnhill’s Newbery Medal–winning novel, The Girl Who Drank the Moon.

With bold, reality-bending invention underscored by richly illuminated universal themes of love, death, jealousy, and hope, the stories in Dreadful Young Ladies show why its author has been hailed as “a fantasist on the order of Neil Gaiman” (Minneapolis Star Tribune). This collection cements Barnhill’s place as one of the wittiest, most vital and compelling voices in contemporary literature.

It's not a gray area. It's illegal because this "Global Publishers" does not have the right to anything written by C.S. Lewis. Also, "Horizon Ridge Publishing" is selling illegal eBooks as well.

The Felicity Complex by August Clarke is $2 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)

Annie Bot meets Fallout in this dystopian satire: six women created in a lab, designed to serve the billionaires of the future in a luxury fallout shelter, rebel against their programming after the end times arrive.

Welcome to the Felicity Complex! Constructed during the height of the Cold War, our unique hotel is prepared to protect you, the billionaire class, from nuclear annihilation! Shielded from radiation and supplemented with closed air systems and hydroponic gardens, this resort bunker offers a prime existence underground: full gymnasium and spa, gourmet meals, top-tier medical care, and the best in entertainment.

Meet Hallelujah! Grown in a lab and educated in the ways of concierge hospitality, she believes in her duty to comfort the Lord-anointed refugees of the apocalypse. (Even if her lover Anastasia disagrees. Even if her creator Dr. Younghusband is disappointed in her.) Don’t worry—everyone is safe from communists in the Felicity Complex!

Look, Hallelujah, guests have finally arrived! Hallelujah and her sister specimens have waited ages for you. Never mind the secrets other rich survivalists may be hiding. Just make sure they don’t notice the violent intentions behind our staff’s wide, wide smiles…

A sendup of traditional womanhood and lampooning the paranoias of the elite, The Felicity Complex questions the ambitions behind the entitled few who plan for the end times—and who truly survives them.

Everybody's Perfect by Jo Walton is $3 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)

Piranesi meets Swordspoint in an elegant relay race through fantasy Venice from Hugo award-winning author Jo Walton

The Serenissima is built from mist and belief, a mythical shadow sister to Venice and crossroads of the nine worlds.

When a laborer called Tiry has a dream that Serenissima will have a doge, and that they will marry the sea, he tells it to a fortune teller named Khadsha. She tells her apprentice, a gondolier called Taddeo, who tells a cop named Gom, who's heard it from five people this morning already. And by that point, it's already settled into the bones of the Serenissima, more than half-fated.

Everybody's Perfect is a gentle, shifting, structurally inventive narrative of startling beauty that will make you rethink everything you think you know about fantasy.

Five Ways to Forgiveness (Herald Classics) by Ursula K. Le Guin is $2 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)

A companion to Ursula K. Le Guin's award-winning Hainish novels—including The Left Hand of Darkness and The Dispossessed—Five Ways to Forgiveness tells the story of the planet Werel and its colony planet Yeowe, and how their societies are shaped by the legacies of slavery and revolution.

When the enslaved people on the colony Yeowe (called "assets") overthrow the slave-holding class (called "owners"), the owners on neighboring Werel launch a war to preserve the master-slave society that undergirds the economy of both planets. Told from the perspectives of people caught in the crosshairs of the struggle, the stories in this collection are linked by the character "Old Music," an Ekumen ambassador who is secretly working as an abolitionist and supporter of Yeowe's emancipation. Together they ask: What does forgiveness look like in a world riddled by racism and caste?

In "Betrayals," a disgraced revolutionary leader makes peace with his past. In the intersectional "Forgiveness Day," a female ambassador from the Ekumen struggles with the patriarchal culture of Werel, while "A Man of the People" tells the life story of a male Ekumen ambassador to Yeowe. "A Woman's Liberation" tells the story of a woman who, after escaping to freedom, must reckon with the internalized racism that still enchains her. And finally, the story "Old Music and the Slave Women" braids the collection together and counts the cost of justice.

First published in 1994 as Four Ways to Forgiveness, this is the first standalone edition that includes the fifth story, "Old Music and the Slave Women," that Le Guin wrote years after to augment this extraordinary, vital suite.

Canon by Paige Lewis is $2 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)
I think this is from a genre "outsider", so maybe not the usual genre fiction.

Two unlikely heroes embark on quests to win God’s favor in this outrageously entertaining, profoundly heartfelt novel that announces an ingenious new voice in the tradition of Chain-Gang All-Stars, No One Is Talking About This, and Martyr!

Yara can’t comprehend why God has chosen them to slay Dominic, the ruthless leader of the army of Bad Guys. Cast out by their family and reeling from a destructive relationship, Yara has never felt weaker—but with nothing left to lose, they strike a deal. Abandoning their solitary days of embroidery and obsessive cleaning, Yara reluctantly embarks on a perilous odyssey designed to prepare them for the daunting mission ahead.

Meanwhile, Adrena, a disillusioned prophet with a terrifying secret power, is determined to become the hero of this story. Desperately seeking the glory of God’s approval and the promise of heaven, where she hopes to reunite with her beloved mother, Adrena must first persuade Harpo, the leader of the Good Guys, that her plan is God’s will.

As their journeys unfold in a series of unforgettable adventures, Yara and Adrena are propelled toward each other and transformative revelations about life, death, and destiny in this intensely captivating, irreverent epic from a singularly brilliant new voice in fiction.
