We started the first season of MobLand yesterday, very different from what we normally watch, but a good series so far.

You really should add NCIS to that as it seems that NCIS and NCIS: Origins is overlapping and will do so even more next week.

I've watched as much of the original NCIS as I intend to. Crossovers used to be rare and wonderful things. Now they're mostly bait.

I watched the limited series Below on Netflix. It was rather silly. It couldn't decide if it wanted to be scientific or magical realism. They also tried very hard to make the past events of one of the characters seem like ancient history when he was only in his late 40s in the present (which was explicitly identified as being 2026). The fishing/boating equipment being shown when he was 10-12 years did not jive at all with what would have been the late 80s (making him nearly 50 in the present). The Newfie affectations of the actors were atrocious as well. It seems one was only required to add an S to the end of every word and to throw in the occasional "b'y".

I agree, I watched all except the final two episodes one night. But after that I just wasn't interested in finishing it.

I'm contemplating starting Crystal Lake this weekend or saving it for my vacation next week. We still haven't decided what we're going to watch next week, usually we have a couple of things lined up. But this time it looks like we'll see what we're in the mood for at that time and which streaming services work (annoying Netflix made it difficult to use it when traveling).

I've finally gotten around to updating my NAS and my Plex server software. It's something so easily and quickly done, but it's just one of those things I keep putting off.
