Having a Hard Time with a NAV TOC in an ePub Export

Hi everyone! I'm relatively new to ePub-making so I'm sorry if this seems basic to you -- I have a print publication built in InDesign and am exporting it (via InDesign) to an ePub. Everything is looking pretty good BUT I want to include in my ePub NAV TOC the Paragraph Styles which indicate the Table of Contents, Table of Illustrations, and another Table that appear in the print-use file. I have made a specific ePub table of contents and everything else that I've put into the ePub file NAV TOC appears in the NAV TOC when I export it and read it on an e-reader. However, those particular paragraph styles (which only are used for the names of those sections in the InDesign file) do not appear in the exported ePub NAV TOC... I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have any possible solution I should try? Many thanks in advance!

Are the missing section headings generated through InDesign’s TOC “Title” field, or are they ordinary paragraphs? One useful test would be to put a dummy heading in a separate, ordinary text frame, apply one of the missing headings’ paragraph styles, and export a copy. Does that heading appear in the NAV TOC?

Could you also share a screenshot of the EPUB TOC style’s “Include Paragraph Styles” list and the export dialog’s “Navigation TOC” selection, with private information removed? That would help narrow down whether the issue is with the selected TOC setup or those particular headings.
