Avoid Wi-Fi connection pop-up

Hi, i love koreader but i'd like to reproduce the kindle/kobo os experience in term of Wi-Fi connection.

I want to leave Wi-Fi always on when is not locked (to save battery) but when i activate my kobo i want to automatically connect to pre-registered Wi-Fi network without any pop-up and correlated seconds to wait for disappearing pop-up itself.

Can i set some parameters to avoid waiting for pop-up disappearing?

Thanks a lot.
Emanuele

There is a KOReader plugin available that seems to work:

https://github.com/asxelot/koreader-nonblocking-wifi

I've been using it since yesterday (I know...long burn-in period) and it seems to be working just fine on my Clara BW

Cool. I think something similar may potentially be possible with coroutines, avoiding a subprocess, though possibly not since the actual WpaSupplicant scan may block for seconds.
