They had the 5" mini (rebadged Jinke V5, like many others used) 6" seemed the sweet spot (price). FWIW a 6" is the same width as a MMPB (5" if you just wanted a text filled screen (minimal side margins)

I put it 'everyone' in bold italic because I meant it as hyperbole. Even so, it has been stated enough that the impression, IMO, is that the (vast) majority of ebooks sold are read on phones/tablets.

I used to read eBooks on a Fire tablet.

When I finally decided to get a dedicated eReader, Amazon had locked down downloads, so I ended up going with KOBO after backing up my library to Calibre. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I do expect my behavior to be in the minority given current reading stats.

I switched to the Kobo Libra Colour for most of my reading, and it's perfect except that I don't really need colour. I want the page turn buttons more than I don't want colour, so there's that. I still have my old Kindle Oasis, but I like the UI of the Kobo better, and the metal Oasis is cold when reading in the winter. (It is winter here in Australia.)

LOL. I love the avatar. I love my Nooks. I just can't stand to read on them very much. If I was more computer savvy, I would try to put koreader on my Glowlight 4. My Glowlight p4 is the most comfortable to hold reader I own. I keep hoping that BN will improve their software. Oh well

A good chunk of my reading was done on my phone when I was working. It saved my sanity during my 1 1/2 hour (If it was a good day) commute back and forth to work.

Now that I'm retired, my Kobo Libra and Boox 7 Go are getting lots of use.

But reading on my phone saved me from having to drag around another device. It will always be my first choice when I'm out and about.

Having lots of options is always a good thing!

About that 'cold' issue: I had the same problem for years with my Kindle Oasis 3. Last year I discovered clear cases (and also for my Kobo devices).

The great thing is that not only is there no more cold back in the winter, but they allow a MUCH better grip on my Kindle Oasis 3.

It's a copy and pasted link that was truncated with a middle chunk replaced by "..."

But it still gave me 3 sponsored links that seemed to be a match and 3 "more items" that were also sponsored yet somehow managed to be somewhat related to what a correct search would have returned.
