I was wondering if on the hold tab, we could get a check box to "Hide titles already in the library"?

I like many have multiple library cards and have many holds. Since the holds are in Libby, I don't always open calibre to add the book as a hold. It would be helpful to hide all the hold titles I already have in my library so I can add the ones I don't.

I'm sure this is fairly niche, so if its not possible or not something of value I absolutely understand.

I'm still a bit confused what the scope of this plugin is. It reads above:

Quote:
OverDrive Libby is a UI plugin that displays your Libby loans and holds and allows you to search for new books, borrow and return them.
Can you use the plugin to open and read Libby loans directly from Calibri and thus use is on reader without native access to a Libby/Overdrive app? Or is it just able to view and manage the Libby listing itself and not the content?

By itself, the plugin does not give you direct access to the content and so you can not, for example, directly open the loans in the Calibre Viewer.

It will allow you to open the loans in your browser via either the Libby or your library's Overdrive website. From there you can read or listen to them online. (That requires you to log in those websites, but thankfully they usually remember your logon details.

Most books can also be downloaded from the website and these can be imported into Calibre and then read offline using either the calibre viewer or by copying them to your reader.

Note, the websites usually describe the downloads as being in epub format. Usually what they actually give you is an acsm file. That is a file that tells ADE (Adobe Digital Editions) how to download the real content so you need either ADE or another plugin to convert this to an epub (See https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=341975)

That all sound complicated, but most of it is a one-off setup procedure.
