Not that anyone on Mobileread would be interested, Barnes & Noble has the Nook Glowlight 4 Plus on sale for $149.99 ($50 off). If you like a larger reader with page turn buttons, this might be it. Barnes & Noble software is not the best but it reads books just fine.

I'm holding off while my Aura One still works, but if its li'l innards pack it in the Glowlight Four Plus would be by far the best replacement from what's out there right now. Everything else is smaller or pricier or color and sometimes all three. But I'm playing chicken right now.

For what it's worth, Amazon has the GL4P renewed for $99 at the moment. With the 8" BW eReader horizon looking bleak, I'm considering it. 90 day return/refund sweetens the deal.

Given that you have a Kobo, you'll hate the B&N firmware. It's very poor.

I've watched a bunch of videos. The only thing that I think would bother me is the inability to get rid of the header and the footer. But I would have to live with the device for a bit to find out if I continued to notice it in the long run.

There is no reason to believe that either Kobo or Amazon are going to release a device that has the form factor I want.

The refurbished Libra 2 can only be shipped to Canada.

I do have to second JSWolf's assertion that the Nook software sucks. It's very nice hardware, but atrocious software. I wouldn't recommend one unless you're willing to go through the hoops of rooting or loading an alternative launcher on it so that you could use it as a multi-purpose android eReader, because the "stock" experience is rather frustrating.

It does look like you can get an alt launcher and koreader on it without rooting (though I could easily be wrong) In any case, I looked up the weight of it and it is too heavy for me anyway. So it’s a no. Thanks for your input.

I'll just like to add this one, as seeing several features I wouldn't thought of: I've just bought two, one for mother's birthday, and one for me, while having permanently damaged the Wacom Studio Pro (pls don't ask).
Looking for that "Lenovo Tab P11 Pro" I'm glad to discover it has a "Productivity Mode (PC Mode)", something similar to Samsung's "DeX", which turns the device on portrait when connecting its keyboard, within the apps acting as on a pc/desktop (still I have to see how them works, as on Samsung's the feature has been quite forgotten - iirc).
So an OLED screen, 2K (2,560 by 1,600, on a 11,5"); 6 GB of RAM, 125 GB on disk (including the OS), a card slot for up to 512 GB.
As the new Kindle app requires minimum Android 10, the device has that version available.
I saw some as refurbished on Amazon.it.

Be carefull as the "Pro" has an OLED screen, while the other version an IPS LCD.

The Tab P11 Pro sports a gorgeous 11.5-inch OLED display with Dolby Vision and HDR10. Resolution clocks in at 2,560 by 1,600, for 214 pixels per inch (PenTile). With deep, inky blacks and rich colors, the display is really a joy to look at, and the screen has a brightness level of up to 500nit.

Both tablets come with quad speakers, but the P11 Pro’s JBL certified speakers are not only louder, but offer deeper bass, fuller and more layered midrange, and brighter treble. With that said, even the built-in speakers of the standard P11 can easily beat average laptops in terms of volume and overall sound quality. Even my HP Elitebook 745G, which sported a Bang&Olufsen speaker, delivers smaller and tinnier sound than the Tab P11.

However, Lenovo has designed ”PC Mode” for its ZUI, and “Productivity Mode” for its international interface, These desktop modes work very much like Samsung’s DeX mode. You will get a taskbar similar to the one on Chrome OS and Windows 10. On the left side of the taskbar are the three classic Android keys: Back, Home and Multi-tasking, you can use them to control the running applications. You will also get a shortcut to open the application drawer. What really makes Productivity Mode/PC Mode so special is their ability to run multiple apps in windows. You can browse through Emails, chat on Skype and watch a movie simultaneously. You will almost feel like you are using Windows instead of Android.

The Tab P11 features a 7,700mAh Li-Po battery, while the P11 Pro has a larger 8,250mAh battery under the hood. With display brightness and speaker volume both set at 50%, the P11 and P11 Pro lasted 11 hours, 37 minutes and 13 hours, 5 minutes respectively in our battery rundown test in which we played a 1080P local video on loop.

The ones I saw was between 170 and 180 euros each.

Edit: the tablets came without the keyboard mentioned in the offer, but I guess I won't claim it, as the price was already fine enough.
