Looking for BeBook Club firmware

Hello,

I know this is a long shot, but I thought I'd try it anyway. I recently found my old BeBook Neo. I wanted to play around with it a bit, by updating it with Onyx firmware I found online. I'm not sure that is the right firmware though. If I'm not wrong, then the Club is a rebranded Onyx Boox X60S. The firmware I found is for the A61S. Found an old blog from someone who used that to get a newer Club S working, but I have a Club, so I don't know if that'll work.

I also tried downloading the last official BeBook firmware from the internet archive. I can get to the download page just fine, but the download itself fails bc apparently the archive doesn't have the actual file. I also found some other dead links of people who hosted the files in the past after the bankruptcy, but these are also unusable.

So I'm basically hoping that someone here either has the last November 2011 firmware for the BeBook Club (not Club S) or knows where to find it.

If anyone has the newer Onyx Boox X60S firmware I could try out, that would also be great!

I can help you! Although my BeBook Club died a long time ago, I still have this firmware on an old backup disk. Please send me a private message with your mail address and I can WeTransfer the zip file to you. It's about 100MB.

Hello Zetholm,

I saw your post, do you still have this backup with firmware for the Bebook?
I have a BeBook Club S (hope you have also the firmware for that one).
Already tried a February 2012 firmware update
USB works again
TXT files do open
EPUP and built-in manual still hang
Maybe the firmware update I used was not the right one.

Hello Rbook, I'm afraid that my ancient backup disk has finally crashed (after almost 15 years!), and I no longer have any BeBook firmware. But even if the disk had worked, I don't think I had the specific BeBook Club S version.

Thanks for checking. If anyone else has the BeBook Club S firmware I'd be pleased.
I also tried to use the update from OpenBOOX, but that didn't do the trick.
