Hey everyone,

I think I need a recovery image for my mother’s Tolino Vision 6. The device only shows the three dots and does not boot any further.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
PM sent.
First, try cloning the image from your original 16 GB card onto another SD card, preferably a new one.
This almost always solves the problem, although you might need to perform a full reset in recovery mode after the initial startup.
Here is a video showing how I do it using balenaEtcher, and here is one demonstrating the process with DMDE.
In the video, I connect the faulty 16 GB SD card and a new 32 GB card, then clone the 16 GB card onto the 32 GB card.

My Tolino Vision 6 stopped booting after a failed Magisk update. It is stuck in rebooting. Sd card image will probably work. Can you send me the file please?

Hi kindletolino,
I think flashing the stock boot.img via fastboot should be enough in this situation.

Code:

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot

Or as a last resort, performing a reset from the recovery menu. If the SD card has actually failed, enable private messages and I will send you the images.

Thank you for your reply Waldy. I can enter into recovery mode, but factory reset and recovery did not work. It says something like "this is for tolino e704(this number might be wrong), this is a tolino". I tried backing up my sd card and tranfer the image to another Sd card but this did not work. When I connect Tolino Vison 6 to my computers, it shows up as an unknown usb device. I installed the google drivers for android devices but the computer does not recognise the device again. I am waiting for moderators to open my PM.
