Replacing Forma???

It appears I might decide to replace my beloved Forma. What other option might be the best new Kobo ereader choice for 7.8" (or 8") screen?

There is no Kobo. According the Gemini, the 8" Sage has been discontinued and I believe it because it's not available new anyplace I can find.

There is no replacement for the Forma. Try to swap out its battery, or go lower (7" or under) or higher (10"+) tier.

You may still find Sage. We have discounted Sage at booktopia.com.au for 360AUD, while Kobo sold them for 460AUD. But I would not do it - keep your Forma if it is still in a good shape (you can replace Forma battery). I hope 100AUD discount at Booktopia means we might expect updated device soon.

There's a German Ebay seller offering used Formas with a 12 month warranty for EUR 110. I bought two of them within the last year, and they both were in very good condition, with the battery far outlasting my Sage's. They used to sell them for EUR 99, so maybe they're running short on supply, but they still seem to have quite a few.

There are plenty on ebay when it comes to the Kobo Forma.

The Kobo Sage, on the other hand, is a totally different issue: It's like trying to locate a living Dodo bird.

I need a replacement for my Kobo Aura One.

Yes, I also have a Kobo Libre 2, but the Aura One still works perfectly after eight years. Too bad KOBO gave up on that design!

You can open the KA1 and replace the battery.

Turn on subtitles and auto translate to English.
