Live CSS in the editor is still not working properly. I click on a class in code view and nothing happens.

Came to comment on a maximum recursion error when trying to edit metadata on a newly added book and a couple of the errors but downloaded the new version and the errors is gone. My thanks!

You might need to post the VL code.
Mine all work (102) , but mine are mostly the state of a column and tag value.

This isn't related to the Preview version, but please see if you can enlighten me.

Recently we came to the conclusion that using {identifiers:,d:select(grvotes)} instead of {identifiers:select(grvotes)} would look better to display large counts, since it appends the thousand separator.

Just now I noticed that the separator-enabled template breaks searches like #grvotes:>100, whereas the default template works fine for such queries.

I've tested on calibre 8 too, same occurs.

numeric searches require the field to contain numbers. if you add separators they are no longer numbers. IIRC if you use underscores as separators it might work as pythons string to integer conversions ignores underscore separators.

Also unrelated to Preview, but I thought worth sharing: the tooltip on Lookup name field should match the error message text, which is more accurate. Column lookup names can contain underscores.
