Yes...and as I've mentioned, I did that, so I do have the books from Baen...but I have them in the .mobi format. I found out that I no longer had access to them because I went back to download them in .epub format.

Is there any reason you can't convert them to epub using Calibre? I did that with all my old .prc books I used to read on my Palm.

Converted mobi is almost never as good as an original epub. Some of the formatting is lost, as mobi doesn't support several epub features.

Just a thought, are you logging in when you go to Baen and selecting downloads from the menu after logging in?

You should see all your titles there, even those ones no longer available.

Amazon may have negotiated a better licensing deal with on those books than Baen did on its.

Unfortunately, sometimes when rights revert or contracts expire, the authors insist that they be completely deleted from the systems. My understanding is that Baen attempts to retain rights for those who have already purchased them to continually be able to download them, but some authors or agents refuse to allow this. ALWAYS make backup copies of ebooks you've purchased.

I can see them, but I can't download them. I've attached a screenshot of what I see.

EDIT: I think I figured out why my old laptop cannot use Windows 11. My T.P.M. shows 1.5, not 2.0 which is what Windows 11 requires. It is a shame that the TPM cannot be changed.

Yes it is third gen based on ivy bridge. The clue is the first number after i7 (and I asked google).
