They're both compatible, don't stress.
I would still use KOReader for better community suport and more customization, though you likely won't have problems with either one.

Neither is really ePub3 compatible. KOReader has a bit better support but both do not use the NAV document so you must ensure toc.ncx is present. They also fail my fixed layout ePub test.

I tried to use the autoload scripts to install KOReader on my Clara via my Mac, running MacOS 26.4.1 (Tahoe). My Mac steadfastly refuses to open the script. There is no app which I have on my machine that will open it: Terminal, BBEdit, Excel, Word, Notes, Nova, Numbers, Obsidian, Pages, Preview, TestEdit, Ulysses -- nothing. Ideas? Punt?

MacOS 26.4.1 will not open the installation script for me. Help?

Hello, I can't run the auto script in Powershell, I can see some red text and then the window is gone in the blink of an eye... I'm on Windows 11 if that matters, what can I do?

Alternatively I wanted to do the manual one click installation but I don't understand What I'm supposed to do for the thing with the nix files... When I click on the link provided in the first post of this thrade it takes me to a file in github with some lines highlighted... What should I do with this?

I'm stumped since I was previously able to jailbreak my Kindle and install Koreader on it, and I thought on a Kobo it would be easier but apparently not for me!

I was able to get powershell to run the script by activating it (I followed this tutorial https://www.it-connect.fr/autoriser-...ts-powershell/) hope it helps another lost soul one day!

Smile Should I update clara hd from 2022.07 to most recent?
I have v. 2022.07 on my kobo clara hd
Should I go newer?

- it shows a system error now and again - but clicking it it always comes back
- sometimes it forgets how to charge, but unplugging the battery always brings it back

I only have one wish: To search for a particular book or title and easily move it to a specifik folder.

If that is not possible in the recent update, I can live with the version, I have.

I was tripping up at this step and I'm not sure I would have figured it out.
