reference mode places numbers over text. (screen shot included)

reference mode places the paragraph numbers over the first word of the sentence. i can't figure out how to change the viewer settings to fix this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cant fix it. reference mode is supposed to be a temporary overlay you find the reference you want then exit the mode.

oh that's so sad. i love that it's an option at all and will make my note taking a lot easier on edocs. i can toggle it on and off as needed but if it wouldn't be too difficult to include a less obtrusive version aligned with the side of the page, rather than the start of the text it would be cool as an update feature. i'm sure i'm not the only person who loves them.

or maybe i'll figure out how to write an extension some day.

thanks for all the work you've done. i've been using calibre forever.

The problem is there is no guarantee there is space at the side of the paragraphs in which to display the numbers. It depends on the CSS in the book. I chose to prioritise robustness.
