Preferably, NSFW sites are discussed on github, yes.

Literotica site change issues were already being worked on.

They've also been discussed in this thread and test versions with various fixes have already been posted. My signature is on virtually ever page of thread saying "The latest FanFicFare test version is always posted here."

I encourage all users with issues, new and old alike, to read the last few pages and consider the latest test version.

oh good to know! I've suddenly today been having "list index out of range" error when downloading AO3 stories using the page browser cache feature. Was wondering if I'd messed up my Calibre or something even though I hadn't done anything today except launch a download. Good to know I'm not the only one. I'll retry tomorrow, see if the error is still going on.

Given that it goes straight to error message as soon as the "getting metadata" bar is done loading, I suspect the problem is on the side of AO3 maybe, as it doesn't even take time to download the fic.

I assume Tharos is also using browser cache feature? I've downloaded from ffnet with browser cache on Firefox today without issue.

Which browser may be a factor.

I opened Calibre in debug mode, tried downloading (still browser cached) as overwrite always with a couple of stories, and then immediately closed to get the log.

re browser cache: I did check earlier that the cache address was still pointing at the right place, as sometimes I have the problem when Firefox crashes, but it's alright, no trouble. Btw, so I don't clog up my own browser/the one I use, the browser cache/default browser points to an extra Firefox instance on Firefox Developer Edition.

I tried with direct download/"disabling" the browser cache. 2 of the 3 worked no problem, the 3rd gave me

I use Firefox, too. BrowserCache just worked fine this morning with 152.0.

But there is a new Firefox update. And 152.0.1 is also working fine for me on Win10. Still works after clearing cache.


I would suggest that you both update Firefox if you haven't and clear browser cache.

If that doesn't work, I would need a copy of your cache directory(zip) to investigate further.

No, it's not.

Most users (me included) have had good luck with use_archiveofourown_gay:true. But there were more problem again just last weekish.
