Any idea what it contains? It reused the same patch notes from the last regarding the credit card issue.

I just got it on my Kobo Libra 2 just now, ordered from Kobo directly.

this seems to boot loop (and touch input not working) for me on my tolino shine 5 (swapped to kobo clara bw firmware). had to hard reset and ran into the same issue again when updating to it right after.

Just a quick note. This is not a problem with this firmware on a Clara BW.

Use the conversion firmware. I had the same issue with my clara BW and this is the way to fix it.

One of these firmware versions replaced the (broken) google search with duck duck go. Did I miss that announcement here?

For those unaware, google search doesn't work with javascript disabled anymore and was broken on kobo.

Good. Google searches are getting worse day by day anyway. The results are mostly ads and AI slop, and the actually relevant hits are pushed to the back if there's any.

Personally, I think it’s a great move. I use the web search quite a lot, and Google was a nightmare on Kobo.

Search, Wiki, Cloud storage etc should all be user configurable in GUI or at worst in the config file.

Absolutely stupid having them fixed in the firmware. Same applies to certain buttons of "Smart TV" remotes or "Home Cinema", though personally I'll not connect either to ethernet or WiFi.
