I'll no doubt find out when I get the new version, but what does it do for books that have both an EPUB and a PDF in calibre?

This means two files, so two 'different books' meaning both will be synced.
What would you, as a user expect? Sync both? Choose just one? Prefer one format over another?

I would expect to see only one book in the justRead library, corresponding the the one entry in the calibre database. To transfer both formats and keep one justRead record might be too tricky given the underpinnings of justRead, in which case I'd be very happy for only one of the formats to be transferred.

Personally, I'd always prefer the EPUB over the PDF. If it's a book that I have in both formats, I'll always want to read the reflowable version. For the few PDF-only books I have, getting the PDF in justRead might be nice - if I read on bigger devices.

Checking in calibre, I currently have 5624 books which have EPUB but not PDF, 2 books which are PDF but not EPUB and 70 which have both EUB and PDF.

So PDF support isn't a big issue for me. I'd mainly want to make sure that I didn't get duplicate entries for books that have both formats.

I thought about it in the meantime and I will add two options in calibre sync:
1. selection for a format to show and sync: [all/epub/pdf]
2. an option which format to sync, when both are presented [both/epub/pdf]

Will this be OK?

A selection for the wished format to sync would be great. A lot of my books are in pdf-format but I do not want them to read in Justread. So for now almost my whole library is marked as new when I want to sync calibre

Hello Docuro, 3.1 is in the making and I think it will be out until end of the week. And this option is on the top of the 3.1 list (well, there are just 4 things: this one, %23 in search links, open pdf from files app, add readwise settings also into app settings)
