95% of articles not downloading, been the case since last week.

That will be because most of the articles now require a subscription and ft.com uses a CAPTCHA on its login page so the recipe cant do the needed login.

I'm not sure that the Financial Times recipe has been improved with Calibre 9.7... I'm getting fewer articles downloaded than I was with 9.6

Did you check 'whats new' when you downloaded? Kovid list when recipes get 'updated'

Additionally, remember that you don't need to update calibre for updates to recipes; updates to recipes are downloaded automagically when used.

Oh I didn't know that updates to recipes were made in Calibre without actually updating Calibre.

Yes I did check the "what's new".
