I think if you added the --inspect-brk command line argument you could connect to the Electron/Node main process for example shim fs.copyFile to 1. get a full list of files to be extracted without needing to query DOM for them and 2. eliminate the manual "open to Thorium and export to epub" step and just have an automated single-step lcpl -> drmfree epub. Feel free to use Dockerfile as reference.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into it.
The app was written in couple of hours as a fun little side project which solved the problem.
Not being able to do everything in one step was definitely on my mind but I could not find the solution right away.
The app will be updated if I manage to implement your solution.

I'll perhaps reupload somewhere later, but that will be some other day.
Fresh reddit account, most subreddits remove posts if not have enough reputation (upvotes). Can be frustrating as new user.

Most people prefer to use calibre. Did you make any changes other then making this harder to use?

"Most" is the operative word. I don't use Calibre as I have my ebooks in calibre-web and must prefer cli tools/scripts when removing drm. Different horses for different courses and all that.

The original repo does have a command line script, so I am not sure what Docker adds to it. Executable (packed python) is nice if one does not want to bother with Python, though. The more the merrier... There is a rust implementation now, as well.

Most people who remove DRM want the easiest way to do so. Using calibre is the easiest way to remove DRM.

Your not using calibre does not change that most would rather use calibre.

Hello! I was wondering if someone who has been able to remove the DMR from LCP files could help me?

I don't have programming knowledge, removing the DRM of ACSM files using Calibre is what I'm used to doing, but now the website where I bought a lot of manga is using LCP and I would like to be able to remove the DMR from them.

I've tried to follow the steps of different methods mentioned in this thread, but I've reached my limit. Like I said, I don't have programming knowledge and I use a macbook, but I learn fast, so I would appreciate the help~!

Detailed help isn't permitted at MobileRead. Ask at the place you've downloaded the DRM removal software from.

sunny.r3ads, The link above should work for your needs, assuming you have lcpl files. Instructions to get them and passphrase are on the site you are getting manga from. Usage should be obvious. This should be vague enough, I think?
