No, but good idea, adding to the list, thank you.

The tap-to-turn and fast library search seem to be the hardest things to find in one package. Most readers that nail the reading experience (good typography, tap navigation, customization) tend to have weak library management, and vice versa. I've been testing a few options on both Mac and iOS recently and the state of EPUB readers on Apple platforms is honestly a bit thin — Apple Books is fine for casual reading but the lack of sideloading flexibility and metadata control is frustrating. Yomu looks promising from what people have described. Has anyone tried it with a large library (200+ books) and custom CSS?

Following up on my earlier post about the reading-vs-library-management trade-off — I ended up building something to try and bridge that gap myself.

It's called BookShelves, a native reader for macOS and iOS. EPUB, PDF, comics (CBZ/CBR/CB7), iCloud sync across devices, OPDS catalog browsing, and Calibre wireless server support so you can send books straight from your Calibre library without cables.

Free for up to 10 books, $2.99 one-time unlock for unlimited. No subscription.

I wrote up more detail in Self-Promotions: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=372622

Happy to answer questions — I've been around here long enough to know what this community actually cares about when it comes to EPUB rendering.
