In the column with fixed values ​​and the name "#m_status", there should be at most X entries with the value "!Lesen" ("!Read").

Would it perhaps even be possible, in the case mentioned, to only display books of the category "!Lesen" ("!Read") in the catalog?

1. Query the column "#m_status"

2. Count the values ​​in this column with the entry "!Lesen". (The entry "!Lesen" is the second in a list of 17 predefined values. The first value is an empty entry.)

then display all of these books (entire rows) of these X books (x rows) in the font color "Purple".

I don't believe calibre has the ability to perform actions across multiple rows; ie counting how many rows have a given value.

It's possible that one of DaltonST's plugins might help but I'll caution you, DaltonST has been inactive for several years now.

Do not unzip it; it's a plugin. Do this: Installation:
1. Download the latest version's zip file.
2. Preferences -> Plugins -> Load plugin from archive.
3. Select the zip file, install it, and restart Calibre.
