When will the jailbreak for the 5.19.2 firmware be available?

My Kindlepaperwhite5 has had a very serious error since it was forcibly updated to 5.19. 2 today, and I am looking forward to the jailbreak for this version to arrive soon! Looking forward to it, looking forward to it.

I don't keep up with jailbreaks, so whether there is currently one for 5.19.2 or not I don't know.

In general, jailbreaks rely on finding a bug in the firmware that allows unsigned code to run on the Kindle.

So it's always "a" jailbreak, not "the" jailbreak.

Timing is impossible to say. It depends on how much time people are willing to spend on it, and how easy is is to find an exploitable bug. Obviously the Amazon developers rather hope that it gets harder with each iteration of the firmware.

Curious what error the jailbreak would fix?

I jailbroke my 22 scribe when the winterbreak came out and the only benefit I saw was KoReader. I've used koreader before on my other devices, and this was my first kindle. I actually ended up removing the jailbreak as I preferred the stock reader and once I figured out how to sideload my books and manga properly I didn't really gain much after.

I guess I could argue being able to block the logging back to Amazon was the biggest benefit
