Here’s an epub of The History of Pendennis by W.M. Thackeray. I have fully proofed the GB text against the first book edition (London: Bradbury & Evans, 2 vols., 1849/50) and corrected hundreds of mistakes and variants. It comes with Thackeray’s original illustrations for the book, all 193 of them.

My original plan of preparing an illustrated edition of Thackeray’s Collected Works had to be abandoned when I found out that it would have to contain more than 1000 images, resulting, due to MR’s file size limitation, in a split-up 3-volume edition. I will therefore publish his Collected Works in one volume without the images and separate illustrated epubs of selected novels and other writings. Next up: The Virginians.

Thank you for this; I'm looking forward to all the rest of Thackeray, since you do such incomparable work. I have the complete works from Delphi, but I find them a bit hit-&-miss format-wise. The volumes Patricia left us here on Mobileread are quite fine, but in the .prc format. Anyway, one can never revisit Thackeray too often. Thanks, again.
