We've had lovely weather yesterday, 17℃ and very sunny (hard to imagine that just over a week earlier we had snow). Right now (1.30pm) its 16℃, and although there are some thin clouds the sun has no problem shining through.

I was just in the garden and the one crocus that has popped up yesterday was being visited by a bumblebee, which was coated in pollen and acting a little bit drunk. More neighbours have spring on their minds because several are out in the garden or around the house doing chores or maintenance.

Our second false spring is here - sunny, temps in the 70's F, showers -- the lizards are out basking on the deck (brown & green anoles) - Pixie cat now snoozes daily on the blanket I sheltered under whilst the arctic air visited the south

13° and sunny. A nice day for a walk before an old friend's birthday celebration. Sadly, the fire department has decided putting candles on the cake would be a fire hazard.

It looks like spring is staying, at least this week. It's 16℃, sunny with a nice breeze. I'm home today due to a nasty cold (woke up with no voice) and it's nice enjoying the sunshine. Even Thursday's got a great prediction (it's my weekday off and usually the weather sucks).

Towards the weekend temperatures will drop to around 12℃, which is still above average, and it will stay sunny. If the predictions stay the same we're going to a theme park on Saturday.

36F sunny. I'm glad for the warmer weather but a bit inconvenient as our garage freezer is failing. Why couldn't it do it last week during the cold snap? Guy comes tomorrow to see if he can inch it along until we can get a replacement but it's 65 years old. Only the second time in its life that it has given trouble.

The start of another fine day. But what coat to wear. It'll be around 4℃ when I leave for work in an hour, with those temperatures I'll be normally wearing my warm winter coat and a scarf. But when I leave work it'll be around 17℃, when I would wear my thin coat or a warmer cardigan.

Hard clear and cold here in south Alaska. For the last week or so temps have been in the -30's F overnight and warming to around 0 F in the afternoons. But it's so gosh darn beautiful in the mountains that I can't complain too much.

As it does every year, its confusing my cats mightily. Do they shed? Do they retain winter warm fur?
