Kindle Translation Feature / Tool

On several Kindle devices when you long press on a word in a book, it loads up a Dictionary definition, a Wikipedia article snippet and a Translation tool.

In the Translation tool there are only a small handful amount of languages to translate to and from.

I am seeking a way to add languages to this tool if at all possible.
As of right now, there seems to be no official method to do so. Amazon Kindle Support told me that it could be done "using USB and developer options." When I questioned the support agent on this he gave me no further information saying he was not permitted to give me that info. And referred me to google.
I've been searching around on google and am not find much at all. I see someone asking the question on reddit from 7 years ago and someone saying it cannot be done as the languages are on Amazon's servers.

Is there by chance anybody here that may know of a way to add languages to this translation tool?

I am specifically looking to add Greek and Hebrew.

For some reason, Greek exists as a translation option on kindle for Android. Have been waiting for it at my kindle paperwhite but nothing still...

That's really strange that it's only available on the Android versions.

I contacted Customer Support and they claim that the instant Translation Lookup tool utilizes bing.com/translate. Which is strange because Bing has Greek and many other languages that do not show up on the Kindle.

Probably because they're reading off a script based on questions you ask them.

Most likely they referred to jailbroken Kindles. If you haven't installed the latest 5.18.x firmware on your Kindle you might be able to jailbreak your Kindle, too. (You can't downgrade the firmware.)

Mine is currently Jailbroken on 5.17.2
But the steps suggested to me to figure out how to possibly add more languages feels beyond my skill level and the warnings of using USBNetwork were kinda scary. I don't really want to brick my Kindle.

Over time, many languages have benn added to translation obviously through firmware updates. I suppose the only thing to do is ask them to add some more in future updates, it must be a simle matter...
