The download works for me but that is no guarantee that it is working for everybody else. The Kobo status page does not show any outages but a short outage could be rounded out of existence.

Update: Half an hour later I could download the update but I had to resume it several times. Didn't find the reason why. Never had problems before.

It could have been a problem in the path from the Kobo server to your computer.
