My Kindle doesn't have a reset option in the menu, so I had to search the internet until I found a way to do it.

1. Create a file on the computer with the following name (without extension): DO_FACTORY_RESTORE
2. Connect Kindle to computer
3. Copy the DO_FACTORY_RESTORE file to Kindle
4. Eject Kindle
Press & hold the power/lock button for 20 seconds

I have an Kindle 4 NoTouch Silver (2011) with serial number starting with B00E.

It says it is on: Version: Kindle 4.1.0

I think it might be blacklisted as I cannot access the Kindle store.

Can I jailbreak this?

It doesn't mean your Kindle is blacklisted. The 4th gen Kindles can no longer access the store on the device; they can, however, access your purchased content and download it.

Is your Kindle registered? if it is, it's not blacklisted.If not, try registering it. if you do try to register it and it's not blacklisted, when you get the one time password (OTP), use that as your password to log into Amazon.

K4NT can't access the store, registered or not.

You can also still send your Amazon books and they will show up on it

Yes, absolutely. The K3 can't access store, but does get downloaded ebooks.

Even the DXG still works here on EDGE 2G, though the 3G is gone. Most places the K1, K2 and DX family won't work due to lack of compatible cellular. All later Kindles will get ebooks via WiFi, assuming they have their last FW and the Airpoint (WiFi) supports older systems and 2.4G. At least WPA is supported on all.

Hello everyone,
I’m looking for jailbreak files for a Kindle Touch 4 (KT4) running firmware version 5.3.7.3.
I’ve gone through the sticky threads and older posts, but most links seem to be outdated or no longer available, and I want to make sure I’m using files that are confirmed to work with this firmware.
If anyone has an archived copy of the jailbreak files, or can point me to a working thread or mirror, I’d really appreciate it.
Any guidance or confirmation would also help.
