Regedit Functions

Where does Calibre store the regedit functions that I've generated, I want to back them up as with the create/edit button right next to the erase button it's far to easy to delete one.
Failing which can I retrieve one that's been erased.

Your functions are saved in the file editor-search-replace-functions.json, in the calibre's config folder (in linux: /home/yourname/.config/calbre/ )

The regex are part of the file tweak_book_gui.json in the same folder, together with other configs. They are under the key "saved_searches".

Nope. Don't miss the target, or make regular backups

You could also make a script (a batch, in windows' terms) that copies this file somewhere and then opens the editor, instead of calling it directly. Then, if something bad happens, you've got the copy somewhere, except if you delete a function created in the same session.
