max sd size/capacity

Hi there,
After 10 years of service, the original SD card in the eBook died... So i changed it and thanks to this forum, i could reinstall a fresh firmware image and everything got back on wheels, but the 4Gb original sd has been replaced by a 32Gb i had in my stock, so i tried to extend the koboereader partition to this immense amount of available space. At first glance, it was working, booting fine, however, when i began to configure the reader, wifi connection and other details, it was failing. I tried to reduce the partition size to the original 4Gb and everything was working great since that reduction in size.
So my question is simple, among your experiences, what is the max supported partition size for this machine ?
Thanks
Best !

well a resize to 32 worked (i did it with mini tool partition manager with the sd card out of the kobo).
The system newly installed seem to bug when the big partition is set, however after the initial settings are done, extension to the maximum capacity in the sd has been taken successfully, in original firmware and in koreader (obviously )
Thanks
