Though "Fall" is a bad term for a global audience. Even Autumn is wrong. It's September, which is spring for those watching on video links or reading reports in the southern hemisphere.

MS used to have "Fall" releases and eventually realised this was a mistake, though they still think everyone has their servers in Seattle as the default time zone, though workstations at install ask you to pick a timezone.

The picture snippet doesn’t look like the Scribe though. The latest version has a white bezel.

Not even the software, the hardware keeps getting worse too. Heck, the last event they had for Kindle they released the Colorsoft and Paperwhite with very apparent banding issues. Panos better have a tight grip on this new crop.

Bezel color is easy to change and a white bezel probably would not look as good as black with a color display.

I would actually prefer they did away with the asymmetrical bezel and either make it smaller/lighter or grow it to 11" or even 12" display.

Assuming it ships I think I would get one eventually, maybe see what trade in value Scribe 1 confers. But I'd expect it to be near $500 USD. I'm guessing there will only be one storage capacity option, at least 64GB if not 128GB. The thing needs to handle lots of downloaded comics, because that's what many users (including me) will want to use it for.

And darn it, when will we see support for Comixology Unlimited on Kindles? Lots of them are B&W and perfectly readable on them.

I adore my current Echo Show 8 - hate the redesign of the new one.

Otherwise none of the releases affect me at all. Three Scribes, very pricey, not interested in those. Bummer for me but I'm sure others may be more excited on these releases.

The new 4K Firestick Select is a mess. It's using a new Linux based OS and that means a lot of apps will not work with it. Plus it dose not do Dolby Vision. So for me, it's 100% right out.
