Can the color of the blue text be changed? To me it looks hard to read with the grey background.

Yeah, sure, the text can change to whatever other color you like. You can import the theme and change whatever aspects you don't like.

I don't know what blue text you are talking about though, I think it's all dark text.

Are you talking about the background color for the alternate stripes?

That can be changed as well.

OK, an ask if anyone is up to it. I have been using the Desert Dawn GVim colour scheme for years and years, and it just feels right -- dark but not too dark, and well-defined code element colours. When I switched to using Visual Studio Code for some work, I was happy to find that palette recreated there, and so I use that same basic palette there. This is NOT something I feel up to recreating myself for Calibre, but would love to have. If anyone feels up to recreating it as a Calibre palette, I would be extremely grateful.

Look at this image and you'll see the blue text I was talking about. It's good that the blue text can have the color changed. I do like your color palettes.

It doesn't just change the interface colors, not the fonts, if you look at the palette file it looks like this:

I made a Purple Dark theme when I finally got my Windows 11 PC and updated Calibre. It's dark mode.

Is there a way to change the color on the side panel when it is selected/highlighted (circled in the picture attached)?
