Thanks for the reply. Yes, my device is a Libra Colour. My firmware version is 4.39.22861 (8c51b352bd, 4/24/24)

I tried reinstalling it, but the same error keeps occurring. Could it be that this plugin doesn't work for the Kobo Libra Color?

Here is how I installed it:

1-I downloaded the file "NickelNote-0.0.4-6-g64d2b" and extracted the "KoboRoot.tgz" file from it.
2-I copied the "KoboRoot.tgz" file to the ".kobo" folder on my device.
3-I created the "nickelnote" folder inside the "adds" folder on my device.
4-I customized the "pin.template" file with my information and copied it to the "nickelnote" folder on the device. I didn't include the other resources because I intend to use only the pin code. Maybe this is why it's not working?
5-I clicked to eject my Kobo.
6-When I reconnect it to the PC, a .txt file appears that I had shared previously.

I really want to use this plugin, could someone help me with this installation?

It looks like Kobo made changes to libnickel.so.1.0.0 that are preventing NickelHook from working.

Thank you for the logs folks.
On both those cases the issue seem to be hooking into the method for changing the actual sleep screen.

I will try to see what is different in 4.39.22861 libnickel.so.1.0.0 towards the weekend by inspecting the symbols on the binaries directly.
Up until now, I could only test/work up to 4.38.21908, which is not the version for these new devices. I appreciate the patience.

Hello all. Unfortunately it looks like Color variants have introduced significant changes into the plugins I've prepared so far. Although I welcome pull requests, I can't add support for color devices as I don't have one.
It becomes quite tricky without ensuring the implementations work as intended, and I can only do that with the device.
